Synopsis
Maher, an electrical engineer and former political prisoner, is a man ready to confront society in order to stage a contemporary dance performance in Palestine. Located in one of the world’s most disputed areas nowadays, Maher’s story is is a parable about a society in conflict, where the real war is between dreams and traditions.

Toomas Jarvet

Toomas Järvet has studied law and cultural theory, but always had a love for photography and cinema. Things clicked when he went for his Master’s degree in Visual Anthropology at Barcelona University. He was selected for the IDFA Academy and was also a participant at the Berlinale Talent Campus. His first short documentary Over and Out was in competition at the Visions du Réel and several other festivals.
